The View outside my Home Office

By
Managing Real Estate Broker with Keller Williams Realty

I seem to be spending more time working from my home office and less time at our Keller Williams Puyallup office lately.  Like many tech savvy Realtors, my true office is carried in a laptop case.  With the help of a small printer and an air card, I'm pretty self sufficient and mobile.

With the advances in technology today, I have very little use for a typical brick and mortar type of office.  But there are times when you just need to lock yourself in the office and work uninterrupted on a project.  This morning is one of those occasions and I find myself choosing the home office over my Keller Williams office yet again.

Perhaps it's the lack of commute, or the company of my black lab that makes it so much easier to work here?

Or maybe it's the superior view I have right outside my window?

I think it's a combination of the lack of commute (savings in gas, too), company of Mr. Dog, and the awesome view out the window. I've been self-employed for several decades and can't imagine going into an office at 0800, lunch at 1200, back at 1300, supper at 1500, back at 1600, overtime until the boss says enough. I like being my own boss.

Yeah Russel, I couldn't imagine going back to work a regular job.  I work many more hours now than I did when I worked for someone, but the freedom is nearly priceless!

If I had your view I would work more from home also.
