28 Comments on Minnesota REALTOR® Teri Eckholm Helps Homebuyers Find Answers to 100 Real Estate Questions!
This is good information for us realtors when working with first time buyers. Many times they have lots of questions, and it would be nice to just give this to them to get started, and then go from there.
Sharon--As a matter of fact, a first time buyer can buy lakeshore or acreage in MN as their first home. We are the land of 10,000 lakes after all. Now if you mean a home on a full recreational lake near the metro, the answer would be not as positive. But as there are many environmental wetland shorelines in 3rd ring suburbs that are considered lakeshore or on a channel shore to a bigger lake, then yes, a first time buyer can afford to buy a lakeshore home.
Gary--There is a wealth of knowledge there for those just starting out thinking of buying a home!
Carole--Thank you...Setting up links to get people started is a great way to be a resource!
Marchel--Feel free to create what you would need. I actually have the links on my static website as well.
Terry--Now you guys will all look so smart to your readers! :)
Lynda--Thank you...Whether they are in Anoka County or anywhere in MN or the US, a lot of the HUD information applies!
Sandra--Why thank you! I love assisting first time buyers...though I do help all other types of buyers too. First time buyers are fun because they are so excited when they find that right house and everything comes together!
Tim--Good for first time buyer and those who bought their first home awhile back and need a refresher course too!
Troy--I think it is a great resource for first time buyers!
Awesome resource for the buyers, Teri!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Teri~ I love the way you laid out this information. 60% of my business this year were first time home buyers. Education and resources are the key to getting them off the fence and buy.
Marzena--Thanks! Hope you and your family have a wonderful day too!
Lisa--With the affordability index way up, it is no wonder that so many first time buyers are taking advantage of the deals on real estate. Having a resource like HUD is a good place to start to get answers...Then they need a good local agent!
Teri- That's a great way to help people, no matter how friendly Google is, I think the best links I get are from other sites and blogs. This one should be a hit for sure.
This is a great idea. I need to do this on my website for buyers. But tonight, I'm tired and going to bed!
Rebecca--Thanks! Often providing links is much easier than 'reinventing the wheel' so to speak.
Lizette--Absolutely add these links to your website. I have had them on mine for years. More information can only help buyers see you as the expert! :)
Teri, An excellent post - it should generate some phone calls - we all need everyone we can get these days, Karen
Karen--Thank you! There are so many questions out there...it is nice to be able to offer resources or be a resource for answers!
