Who would have though that the Raiders would beat Denver at Mile High Stadium. This was not a nail biting close game either. I think the Raiders woke up and said we are going to play at 100% and make no mental errors or the Broncos under estimated what Raiders team would show up on Sunday. I'm normally changing the channel on th Raiders right about the beginning of the second quarter. Both the offense and defense showed up I could not beleive it. Now lets see if they can do it again next week.

Mike, the Raiders have alot of talent on that team - the just need to learn how to work as a team and that comes with the owner knowing his place and allowing the  coaches to do their job.

Just like any professional business they need to work as a team. I totally agree Tim and Pam and they do have a ton of talent.

I never change channels if the Raiders are on. I've been a fan since 1971 when I was in high school in Kingsville, Texas, which made me a Sunday loner with all my Oiler and Cowboys friends. I'm still a loner, but the friends are now Chargers fans. Maybe I'll retired to Oakland and get me some Raiders fans -- LOL.

It sounds like you need to move to Oakland Russel since you're a faithful Raider fan.. There is plenty of home inspections to do in Alameda and surrounding counties.

Hey, Mike. I had to leave early in the fourth quarter, but since we were behind 27-7, I don't have a lot of confidence that we mounted a great comeback to win. I have to get all my Active Rain duties in before I check on the final score so that I don't get depressed -- LOL.

Hey, Russel I could not beleive the score was 27-0 in the second quarter and then I thought oh yeah the Raiders are back to normal now especially from the humbling loss to Kansas City.

Those of us who are long-time, die-hard Raiders fans are proud of the fact that our Raiders are the first team in the long and glorious history of the National Football League to lose at least eleven games in six consecutive seasons! See? We're not fair weather fans like the fans of other football teams.

Now our goal is to go from 2008 worst to 2009 first!

Now that's a positive attitude Russel.

Hmmm. I see that Russel has found a virtual Raiders fan. He's been running around predicting Raiders in the Super Bowl -- next year. They might have a little further climb than that with Al Davis at the helm.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life -- make it a good start.

Honestly, I think WE and the Bronco's took the Raiders for granted.  But I am not giving your Raider's any more credit than that!  LOL!

Hey Jim, I thiink the Raiders have to get in sync and I don't know if they can with Al Davis.

Hey Brooke I think the Raiders just decided to play football and it caught the Broncos off guard. It's not like Denver has not romped on the Raiders before.

I think the Radiers need a new owner. I don't like their way of thinking, bad drafts in general, but the selection of the quarterback Russell will set the organization back 10 years. Terrible qb and they need to scrap him now.

I agree that they need a new owner but I think Russell was a good pick up if he can play a great game every game..
