This blog post is a little different than the my other posts. When I got in to real estate, I started in property management. Initially, I worked in the office, learning the ropes and getting my feet wet. When my employer offered to pay for my real estate license, I jumped at the opportunity.
Fast forward a few months. I took my classes, passed the state board exam, and hung my license in the real estate office that was attached to our property management office. And that is where it has sat, idle more or less since I got it. Our office is small, and there isn't much training available. So now the question becomes, what do I do to get started? After giving it some thought, I figured I would turn to a group of experienced real estate agents to see how they got started, and any tips they could offer!
So, my question to you for this particular post is: What did you do to get started in real estate? Prospecting, marketing, everything. It's all new to me!
