Home Stager with IAHSP - Boston, MA

From Whoaa to Wow!  Staging works in Wallingford, PA!  Cindy Journey's client need a transformation of the entrance hall.  Entrance halls are the first impression!    Cindy is a member of the Boston Chapter of IAHSP.  Her company is Journey and Co., Manchester, MA

Entrance Hall Transformation!

Before:  The bold color of the entrance hall and the mismatched ceiling lights make the area seem smaller than it is.  The clutter draws your attention to the collection of things, not the features of the house.

entrance hall

Staged:  The same front hall now seems larger because of the light, neutral colored walls and the recessed lighting.  The beautiful floors are now the focal point.  The Buyer is visually drawn in to linger and and enjoy the rest of the house.

"Cindy, you are amazing!  The house is just beautiful and I can hardly believe the change! " Norma of Wallingford, PA.

I didn't even see the floor in the first photo. I'd like to see the Before and Afters taken from the same place and angle.

Sharon, you are so right.  It was a new camera and i didn't realize part of the floor was out of the shot.  But once the property was staged, I couldn't go back for a re-take.  My next photos will be more accurately lined up.  Thanks for your comment.

Whoa!

This house didn't need a stager, just a little application of common sense.

Awesome job... isn't it amazing what a little paint (and decluttering) can do?

Melissa - Thank you!  Cindy did a great job!

Sue - Come on down!

Jim - Stagers bring common sense to the house - homeowners are emotionally involved and therefore it is difficult for them.  Stagers have a have a trained eye and know what will work to keep the buyer involved in the property!  In this case Cindy was able to help her homeowner understand how the Staging would help sell the property.  Anyone can tell a homeowner to paint a wall and clean the clutter - it is getting them to do the work that is the hard part!  Thank you for your comment!

Sharon - So good to hear from an ASP Realtor!  Thank you for your comment!  Stage it forward!

Wow, this is a first, I actually liked the before better than the after.  I'm surprised!  But, I can see how the staging made this area more attractive to a wider cross-section of potential buyers.

I'd live in it more like the 1st and stage it like the 2nd.

Roger -  Thank you for your comment!  Staging is not decorating - we are seeking universal appeal - which is exactly what your comment says!

Kathleen - Thank you for your comment!  The way you live in your home and the way we market and sell your house are 2 different things - which is why we stage!

Great work, was that color previous to the redesign, orange sherbet?  From Whoa to Wow is exactly right.
