The place to be on the Saturday after Thanksgiving is Comfort, TX, located just 10 miles north of Boerne in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country.  This little town has a great big heart and one of the best parades around.  The fun starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 29 and goes until 9 p.m. that night.  This is their 23rd annual Christmas in Comfort.

High Street and 7th Street are lined with booths containing arts and crafts, gift items, and food.  This is a great place to shop and gets you out of those crowded over priced malls.  Live music is played all day long. And Santa will be there to take pictures with the kiddos. There will be a petting zoo, also. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Comfort's spectacular evening parade.

So when the company starts getting stale at your house and the turkey is all gone, head on over to Comfort for some really good food, great times and great shopping.
