A previous client of mine referred Alex and Erika to me in May of 2008. Like many first time home buyers, they knew they wanted a house but also knew they needed guidance and help to get them into that all important first-time home. Location was decided for the most part, but they weren't sure about the type of house they wanted, nor their price point. After their pre-qualification with the bank, the hunt was on! This was not going to be easy and I told Alex and Erika sometimes we have to wait for the house that is right for you. I put them on my email drip. Each and every house that came over the email, I looked carefully to see if this home could be "The One". Erika and Alex patiently waited, with faith, knowing that the perfect house would one day appear on my email.

At the end of September 2008 the cutest investor flip with huge live oak trees in the front yard appeared on the email. I picked up the phone and called Erika and told her, "Erika, I think your house is here!" Alex and Erika met me the next day. Sure enough, as soon as they walked in the front door they fell in love with the house and knew it was their first home. We all stood in the living room looking at the fireplace and imagined a crackling fire with holiday decorations. A dream was made. A new home in time for the holidays!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving Alex and Erika are having this year! They will be spending the Thanksgiving holiday moving! After the closing, Alex and Erika told me they wanted their new home to be a surprise to their families and had not  told anyone! So Happy Thanksgiving Alex and Erika, I'm sure you will have fun as you break the wonderful news to your family. Yes, all dreams are possible. You are in your new home just in time to get those holiday decorations up! Feliz Navidad!

Many Happy Years to You!

This is a great story.  Congrats on getting a great referrals.  I'm surprised they could keep it a secret about the house.  They certainly have more self-control than I have.
