FUN Craft for CHILDREN (& YOU) this Thanksgiving!

Make Tin Can Thanksgiving Turkeys!

Save a tin can and after cleaning it out well, cover the entire tin can with brown construction paper.  Cut out the turkey's features - feet, eyes, goggler and beak from different colors of construction paper and attach with glue.  Don't forget the turkey's tail feathers.  Glue them on the back of the tin can.  You can also use markers for highlights.  Tin Can Turkeys are great to use as place markers at your Thanksgiving dinner table.

Wishing you all a joyous and thankful Thanksgiving from Colonial Williamsburg!

Great idea Yvette. I think we would have a lot of fun with these turkeys, and they are not as hard to chase!-Dinah Lee

Yvette~ Isn't it funny that the Tin Can Turkey project post has gotten more responses than the one you wrote about writing our own ads?? I intended on replying to you on that one, but am down with the flu and can't seem to get my brain functioning in the "marketing mode."

DINAH - My favorite kind :o)

GREG - She'll love it!
