The Power of Giving - The Gift of Thanks

I would be seriously remiss if I didn't stop this evening to give my sincere and heart felt "thanks"

to ActiveRain and all the members who make this network such a wonderful place to work and play. Taking time to say "thank you" to others may seem like a small and insignificant gesture, but the power in those words "Thank You", no matter how they are delivered, usually mean as much to the receiver as they do to the giver.

Being thankful is more than just saying it to someone,

it's showing them your gratitude by your actions, your efforts, and all your other chosen words as well. I have been blessed to be a part of the staff and this community now for quite some time, and really do enjoy love my job and the relationships I've built here. During this Holiday season where the tradition is to "Give Thanks", it hardly seems adequate enough to just say "Thank You!"

You have been an absolute "Joy & Hoot" to work with, you're amazing people!

The friends I have made here are some of the best that I have and know. I am truly thankful for all the people I have had the chance to meet and get to know both on the Network, and in person. This has been one of the most bizarre, life changing, mind Boggling, incredible journey's and years that I have ever experienced, and I am so grateful to be right here, in this time, in this place, right now. This is home.

Thank you Jon, Bob, Rich, Jeff, Matt, Diego, Jorgen, Mike, Jerry, Claire,

and the rest of the ActiveRain staff for putting up with me, carrying me at the times I needed it, and for putting me in my place when it was necessary. You are all the coolest and most awesome people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I love you guys. I'm very excited and passionate about the path we're on, and fortunate to be able to witness where the future will be taking us.

I know the best is yet to come...

To the GREATEST Community and Network on Earth, I want to Thank you

for your patience, your support, your commitment to us and to yourselves, and for making AR the place it is today. Thank you for contributing so much, both on a business and personal level, I have learned so much from and about each and everyone of you. I wish I had more time to spend with you, and in your lives. I am truly thankful for your friendships and all that you have given me. Again, Thank You!

I am proud of this company, this network, and most of all, this family I call my own.

Lastly, I am thankful that my own family, here at home, allows shares me with this unbelievable on-line community. To them, I want to say "Thanks for Giving" of your Husband and Dad, I love and care about you so much, and I don't say it to each of you enough. Sean, Dustin, Brandon and Princess... Thank You!!

I wish everyone a very bountiful Thanksgiving, and a safe and wonderful Holiday.

May God Bless you all in abundance this season, and in the years ahead. Let us all be thankful for what we have, and give thanks to those who have helped us grow and become the people we are. The greatest gift one can give to another is their time. Make "time" to "Give Thanks" to others, not just on Thanksgiving, but everyday.

It's the invisible FREE gift that is always worth giving...

Hi Brad, Happy Thanksgiving. Like you, I wrote a post about Thanksgiving and in it I also give a special thanks our wonderful Staff here on ActiveRain, most especially you, Brad, Bob, and Rich. I am guessing that the staff didn't actually see the post. The sentiment is sincere . I had wanted to send each an e-mail through ActiveRain but it isn't working just at the moment. Would you mind at least letting all them know how much we all appreciate all of your efforts to improve our on-line lives trough the network. We are all very grateful.

BRAD: I know this is going to sound really soppy, but I got seriously teary eyed while reading your post. As I have shared with you before, I feel the same way about this place. I am so very THANKFUL for you and all the staff members. You guys have given us a gift that is beyond any monetary value. There are people here that have touched me profoundly...carrying me with their prayers and love through some pretty dark and uncertain days. How do you say 'THANK YOU' for that? I cannot. Brad - Thank you for your post. It was so hearfelt and uplifting. I had the same thought today and started calling my friends and family in the speeddial of my cell to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving and let them know how much they meaned to me.

To my surprise, when my client answered the phone he told me he was in Missouri holding his new baby girl! They have been trying to adopt for 3 years and she was born last week. What a happy Thanksgiving story I was able to enjoy with them!

So, Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I'm looking forward to gettting to know all of you more this coming year. :)

It's pretty cool to see so many rainers out there writing such positive posts and offering goodwill to each other. Almost a "teary-eyed" day, wouldn't you say? Especially given the circumstances our industry finds itself in at the moment.

Wish me luck in the family tradition of "The Turkey Bowl", I don't think my team has ever won our Turkey Bowl family football game.

It just means that the winners get to be in the Turkey line first, the losers get the leftovers and table scraps.
