I too thought it had to do with ships or boats.  According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary that is correct...  It also says it can mean, "an indefinite large number - a flotilla of changes.

I LOVE learning new words.  I get a word a day emailed to me.  A recent one I got was Frowzy, anyone know what that one means?  I think it is a great "must have" real estate word :)

Paul.  Can you give us some more information on this?  Who asked you about this, how did it come up?  Is it related to Thanksgiving.  Need more info to try to help.  There is always the dictionary if all else fails.

Naples Marketing  In Spanish, Flota is a group of boats or ships. Flotilla is a diminutive form of Flota. But the context will tell...
