Have always wanted to try the fried turkey but have to say that for Thanksgiving, the traditional baked turkey is my preference.
I have never had fried turkey but my brother says its the best he has ever eaten. I am going to bake like I always do. Happy Thanksgiving!
I never had fried turkey. I'm sure it tastes good but that's too much cholesterol. I'll have baked turkey. Happy Thanksgiving.
Wow, what a tough question. I'm partial to baked as that is what I grew up with but a fried turkey is delicious too. It just freaks me out being around all that hot oil....Someday I have to buy one for myself. Rich Charlotte NC
You fyy it in peanut oil
I LOVE IT!!
Fried is the only way to go. This year I purchased an oil-less turkey fryer. Tried it out last week it was awesome. Cooking 2 tomorrow morning.
Ours are always baked but I have tried fried and OMG is it ever good!
Baked turkey, based with it's own juices is superb. Several years ago, you youngest son decided he would like to deep fry the turkey. It was ok, but not as good as our traditional way of cooking.
I have never had a fried turkey... I have, however, had a smoked turkey... and it's wonderful!
Now that's a good question. I generally prefer it "cooked by someone else."
Turkey Breast only, not the whole turkey and baked.

Fried is much better than baked.
The only thing you miss is the smell of turkey baking in the house for hrs and hrs.
I prefer eating in 45mins :)
I have never had Fried till this year, or in fact, never heard of it until this year , everyone seems to be going that direction and claims to like it better, I still like baked
I've never actually had a fried turkey. I considered trying it once but to ruin a whole turkey on an experiment and risk the entire dinner, I got scared.
So my vote is baked.
Fried is delicious and fun to do out by the pool, but I think baked is the more sentimental choice and I'm feeling a little old fashioned these days.
My buddy has a restaraunt and we take our turkeys over in the morning and deep fry them and they are sooooo good!
We prefer our baked with stuffing, but have enjoyed the fried also. Just a individual preference
You forgot the real and only choice! SMOKE IT! You want to have the best turkey you have ever had, buy a smoker and enjoy! (10-1)
Roasted, breast side down of course.
Dead and baked
