With this Blog, I will be totaling 100,000 points, a milestone for me.
Let the whistles blow, the lights flash and the party begin.

I joined Active Rain on June 11, 2008. One of my co workers walked over to me and told me this was the place to start my marketing. I joined and told him I would look at it later, never thinking I would become a highly addicted member of Active Rain.
That night I went home and got onto the site. I looked around, read the rules and read and read and read until my eyes couldn't take much more in...
I never heard of a SEO. I didn't know what widgets where and I never even thought about Blogging, but that night, after I read the posts, I knew that I had just acquired another addiction...Active Rain (other addictions include the internet).
I researched and found Active Rain for Newbies my first group to join. And of course the New Jersey groups. Then I happened across Greg Nino with his post, I lost a listing to a Big Boobed Realtor and the Hump Day Block Party.

In that group, I made some great friends, Elizabeth Ramsey Cooper-Golden,Sharon Wager, The Blue Jean Agent, and Sherry Scalesand the baby of the group, Sherree Wilkerson. We had our good times and so a friendship growing between these five woman and we decided that we would start a group of our own, Bodacious Broads. This group is for the good at heart who just happen to also be a bit on the rowdy side. This is the place where we sit and chat about nothing in particular, everything that matters to us, and all topics in between. Primarily a social group, we are friends that are here to support each other through thick and thin, cheer each other on, and laugh at each other and ourselves. Poor taste, lousy grammar, and swearing like a truck driver are encouraged.
I have virtually met dozens of Active Rain folks and one day, hope to take that Road Trip the Bodacious Broads are planning and stop by and meet some.
And I really enjoyed this so much, I took a Real Estate course and plan on jumping the fence and become one.
Now upwards and onwards to 200,000 points.
Wow Nancy:
Congrats...that is a milestone!
I'm sure that you had a Happy Thanksgiving then....
