Day 22 of 29 days of Gifts was a hit.  Another accepted offer - YAY!

I was very clear today on what my 22nd gift was going to be.  I followed the path to accomplishing it, secure in my ability to do so.   And I did.  But tonite, as I sat with my laptop, and was gettting ready to share my story, I turned on the TV.   There was CNN Heros playing before me.     WOW

These people being honoured are incredible.  What they are doing, where they're doing it and how they've managed just leaves me speechless.   Humbled and wishing I could do more, I sat at the edge of my seat, absorbing all of what they've accomplished.

I noticed that even the commercials were amazing.  One in particular captured my attention: www.csdw.org  Childrens safe drinking water program provides safe drinking water for people who really need it.  More than 4000 children a day die simply from not having clean drinking water.

I decided that today my gift would be to provides one family with clean drinking water for a year!  It was so easy to do.  A simple donation of $30 was all it took.

You too can help a child with what we take for granted each and every day.

I look forward to sharing with you tomorrow what my 23rd day brings,

What a wonderful gift.  We take water for granted, in fact most of us do not drink enough until we get thirsty and then we appreciate it!  I think this is a great way to spend $30.  Thank you for sharing this.

We don't even think about what a priviledge it is to be able to turn a handle and get running water.

Hi Susan, Clean drinking water is something all Americans (and Canadians) take for granted.  It is sad that this isn't so in some other countries.  Thanks for the link.
