I've been pondering the thought of advertising on radio. Anyone do this with success or have stories to share from it?

If you do advertise on radio- is there a certain type that works better for you- ie. a news station vs. a country station.

If it is free then I would do it. It may work for a targeted project but as a general real estate advertisement it most likely not pay.

You definately want to target a specific demographic.  This is where a radio advertising broker could come in handy.

We have had great success with underwriting spots on the radio.  You find a "non-commercial station" and the prices are usually much cheaper.  You can't use flashy advertising language... but you can still get the message out there.

There are a couple of agents in my market that seem to have really gotten the listings from radio ads.  They don't even have a website, are new to the market, but have 20 plus listings.
