There s a really lovely river walk in Bastrop TX that meanders along the bank of the Colorado river on the east side between the Highway 71 bridge Ferry Park - and the Loop 230 bridge and Fisherman's Park in to town. You can park and access the river walk either down behind the Wells Fargo Bank, or at either Park entry. During the Christmas Holiday season there is a Light Parade that is fun to enjoy at night.
