About 16 years ago, my wife and I having been married 6 mo. decided it was time to look into buying a house. We knew that the intrest rates were historically low (8%)! We wanted a house, my wife wanted a dog. We explored partnering with a friend and doing the Flipping thing before the term existed. But we decided we wanted a HOME.
Our search was silly really. With out too many embarassing details, We basicly said, "how about that one" "It's Cheap". So that night we signed an offer. Got it live in it today.
We were uneducated buyers and we got lucky. I did have the fortune of a mentor who knew enough to look over our shoulder and make sure we didn't do anything too stupid.
