Home Staging worked for this house!

What a beautiful home and what a fun project this was!  Crowfield Plantation is a very nice, large neighborhood in Goose Creek, SC, a suburb of Charleston area and this house had an awesome floor plan.

outide

My clients had already moved to a different house and to save them money, we moved a lot of their existing furniture BACK into the house! Since they did not have any kids, they did not mind at all and they actually wanted to because it would save them a lot of money.  They were excellent to work with.

great room

The great room was expansive, which made it feel very cold.  Hardwood floors are nice to work with.  living room

It's hard to believe this is the same room!  We did go out and purchase art and accessories for this home that the homeowner loved so that it could easily transition over to her new space.  It took a half of day of intense shopping!

Here's a shot from another angle...

eat in area

The eat in area was roomy, but you can tell it needed furniture.eat in

The kitchen table and chairs our client already had were good looking and so easy to work with.  Dark wood is my favorite!   Notice the bay window wall was painted back to the original color. master

HOWEVER... In this master bedroom,  this accent wall was desireable, especially since the homeowner had bedding that worked with it and light furniture to stand out against the dark wall.

AFTER STAGING...

Isn't the furniture beautiful against that dark wall?

Now for the guest bathroom...Before...guest bath

And AFTER!

And lastly, there was a cute little screened porch off the Great Room...

ALL IN ALL, this was a wonderful project!  We are going to decorate her new home (interior redesign) in the near future and I am sure that will be fun as well!  Our client Lisa was thrilled with the results and so were we...after all it SOLD in just 38 days!  Home staging is so gratifying, especially when you can help someone in such a practical way.  I love that part!  It makes the hard work worthwhile.

Congratulations on a successful staging job and a quick sale!  It is so much more impressive after you staged it.  I think you gave the house the definition it needed so it didn't leave potential buyers wondering what to do with the spaces.  I was going to type in my favorite room, but then I went bacl up to the photos and couldn't decide!  I even loved the back porch!

CINDY:  Thank you!  It is amazing what staging can do for a house.  It was a great house with a nice floor plan, but it needed furniture!

KATHY:  Thank you so much.  We enjoyed doing that guest bath.

You did a wonderful job!  I love the bay window in the dinette painted back to the original color -- seems bigger!  Thanks for sharing the great photos.

Thanks for sharing your photos and a staging success story, Cynthia!  Don't you love staging ramblers - no stairs, flat wide driveway, and it looks like you might have even had some access through the garage.  Glad this one sold so quickly for you and the sellers.

MARGARET:  Thank you. The dinette did look bigger for sure!

WHOEVER:  Sorry your name did not show up on the comment...but I do love staging one story houses like this one with nice open floor plans.

Cynthia: Congratulations on the fast sale. You were fortunate your client had nice furniture to work with and they were willing to part with it for a short time while the house was on the market. That saved them a lot of money and you were a hero. Great job!

Beautiful!  You managed to keep the space open while inviting the warmth that the room needed.

Congratulations.  Your post is being featured in the group; Staging Before & After Pictures.

MICHELLE;  Thank you.  I was very thankful they had such nice furniture already and were willing to let it go for a while.  It saved them a ton of money on furniture rental and thus they only had to buy art and accessories to complete the look.  We did have to rent the dining room table, though.

KATHY:  Thank you for the support and for featuring my post.

Cynthia, congrats on a quick sale! I love the eat-in area, the way the dark table works with the light buffet. Looks wonderful.

TANYA:  Thanks.  The eat in area was large in this home and it opened up to the great room and the kitchen.  I love to mix wood colors and tones (with care) as it makes a room more interesting.

I love the transformation but hate the way I have to view it.   There is something wrong in the formatting.

If I fill my screen the words run into the side photos.  If I mininize it the words run off the screen.

Try changing the background to see if that changes it.
