River Vale Opts for Chinese Language Classes

River Vale New Jersey (the town voted #29 in the top 100 best towns in the entire country by CNN Money Magazine in 2007) has yet another reason to folks to sit up and take notice!  River Vale students enrolled in Holdrum Middle School as well as both Roberge and Woodside Elementary School,have the opportunity to enroll in a class which teaches both the Chinese language and all about the Chinese culture, history and geography as well.

This innovative program is a first in River Vale, and is being funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education Foreign Language Assistance received by the River Vale School District.  This program will be continued, with students being able to take a second level course the following year.

River Vale offers a top educational system for its students, as well as an exceptional life style for the community, and a superlative Library, a member of the BCCLS system in the County.
