Amen brother...can say the same for Greenville. It's scary cheap and we're not even hit as hard as the major cities..hardly at all in fact. Great time to be an investor and flip houses!
I don't know about flipping right now Holly - but it's definitely an excellent time to buy as a first-time home buyer or rentals. Buy low - Sell High!! Pittsburgh is one of the most stable markets out there and our agents should be pushing that fact. I'm also trying to talk to as many young people out there as I can. If you are in you're 20's and renting you are throwing your money away!! Just think the money you are spending on rent could be building you equity and in Pittsburgh you are almost guaranteed to build equity just sitting on it. Let's say you, as a 20 something single person buy a place and pay on it for 8 years. In 8 years, you meet another young guy/gal and this person has been paying on a place for 5-8 years. You could potentially sell both places and make a huge profit to buy your first place together!!
