You see, I am principally a buyer's agent. If your home sells, at some point you're going to need another one. I would much rather work with you as buyers/clients. Since I am a native of Dutchess County, I basically am familiar with all the areas, the schools, the amenities,etc. I have access to the MLS so I can easily find what else you may be interested in.
Purchasing a home is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make. Wouldn't you like to think that an agent was working for you instead of with you? That's what buyers' agents do. Additionally, I have lists of other professionals that I could recommend when the time comes from licensed home inspectors, mortgage brokers, attorneys, title companies, even chimney cleaners. These references would all be supplied based on personal/professional services from the past year.
