I am happy to report that after three months on the market, my listing in Marietta, GA received THREE offers last week -- with offer #4 pending. 

Of course, my sellers are absolutely thrilled.  They worked so hard remodeling their home over the last five years and were honestly the "perfect" clients. 

When I shared this news with friends and family over the Thanksgiving holiday, their only response was "Multiple offers in THIS market???"  

They were truly blown away. 

I told them this is not an uncommon occurance and that that this the 6th time this year that I was involved in a multiple offer situation -- three times as the listing agent and three times as a buyer agent.... but I still don't think they believed me.

On this particular home, I think that we received multiple offers for several reasons:

• The home remodel, decor and paint colors were simple and tasteful, which appealed to a wide array of potential home buyers
• The sellers were very flexible with home showings and they always kept the home spotless
• We PRICED the home correctly

... and of course, they hired me as their listing agent!  :-)  

Seriously though, if you are thinking of buying a home in this market, please don't sit on the fence and watch your dream home pass you by.  Good homes that are priced well will sell.  No matter what market you're in.
