I am going to go off subject. I am watching the Bears and Vikings tonight and wanted to chime in on Adrian Peterson of the Vikings.
I think he should get League MVP consideration. Obviously the Vikings need to make the playoffs to give him a shot at that but I don't think any of the top teams have a player that makes as much of an impact on the team has he does. AP is the Vikings offense. The WR's only get open because they put 8 in the box to try to stop the run and even then we rarely get much done in the passing game because our QB is so bad.
I know they had a 99 yard TD tonight but if you watch this team each week you will see its not good. So even though the defense knows who is getting the ball, Peterson still leads the league in rushing.
Most of the top teams in the league have a lot of balance and I don't see any real clear cut MVP types on the other division leaders.
Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
