Every thing is DuckyThis  little guy looks like he's wating for something... maybe for his duckie darling to come home. But could be he is just enjoying the peaceful solitude.

Duck, duck,... no! GEESE!

This Canadian Goose family seems content to play "follow the leader". Of course, isn't that what geese always do? (They fly in a Vee formation, and takes turns being the leader).

These peaceful pictures are brought to you courtesy of The Tuesday Trip. Come join us!

One of my quilting friends posted a picture of the geese and there were a LOT of them.  You do know why when they fly in the "V" formation (aerodynamic) that one side is longer then the other don't you?

Oh, Kevin, I'm ashamed of you. Geese don't have nationalities. Thus, it is not a "Canadian goose family." It is a family of Canada geese.

Kevin, Cool pix. Although pretty to look at, Canadian Geese are getting to be a real pain in this area. Thankfully, they do not stay in the pond behind my house. I have seen areas where they do and well...

Around here they are getting so over-populated, that sometimes they blacken the sky when several large groups take off at once. They can totally trash a metro park in a few days. Unfortunately, they may have to "open season" on 'em, and do a little population control.

Cute little buggers. The geese, however can really over-run a place. There are getting to be more and more each year around here. I think that soon, they will have to start thinking about population control.

Kevin, You gotta watch those geese.  I was painting the back of my house a few years back and one came up from the lake and came after me.  I ran.  LOL.

One of these pesky creatures actually bit my son in the behind one day when we were going boating. Some of them are fearless. Especially if you happen to get too close to their babies.
