CHRISTMAS TREE FARMS AND STANDS IN LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA

Bringing the Christmas Tree home is a tradition for many families during the holiday season.  Cutting your own is possible, but the best trees and those with good conformation and that decorate well, are often from Christmas Tree farms.

Lenn, I miss the Christmas tree farms where we would spend the good part of the day roaming the field with the kids looking for the perfect tree...

Goodness Paul.  Don't they have tree farms in Washington??  Or, like me, are the kids gone???

Steve.  Here's hoping folks find the post.

I remember doing this several times in VA when my children were young it was so much and very pretty when there was a dusting of fresh snow.  Now I lucky if I get just one tree up in my home.  Its sad to think the real meaning of Christmas has been lost to so many with all the commercializma (I know its probably not a word) but I hope that people find the true meaning of Christmas again.  The traditions and the special time with family.  Merry Christmas Lenn!

You too Katie.  We have Christmas Trees around every corner in my area.  The decorations this year are a tad sparce though.  Sign of the times I suspect.

Rebecca.  Thanks.  I'd like to retire to WVA too.  The farther into the country I move, the farther I want to move.

I'm in Lovettsville VA now, not to far from WVA.

Gene.  Thanks.  That is my goal.
