Merry Christmas to My Friends and Mentors!

By
Real Estate Agent with Sabinske & Associates, Inc. (Albertville, St. Michael)

During this holiday season, we gather close to family and friends, cherishing the warmth and goodness in everyone.  I sincerely wish you all the brightest hope for the new year.

Now, don't feel sorry for me, but I really have no immediate family left.  So, I've adopted by brothers and sisters, and now I have all these great cousins on Active Rain, as well.  Life is good.

Remember to give a little time to those less fortunate...visit a nursing home, stop by the veteran's hospital.  It will give you so much more than you get!

We all need to be just a little kinder to everyone in these trying times. As my mother used to say, "This, too, shall pass."

Hello Suzanne it's still hard to be the last one standing but this way you can now chose your loved ones. On my mothers side down to my mom and grandma and my boyfriend is the last to carry on his families name. My thoughts and blessings are with you this Holiday season and wishing you much love and joy.

Thank you so much for the sentiment.  It's hard sometimes remembering Christmases past.  But, I look at it this way...there was so much joy in those days that it was meant to tide me over.  I still feel the love of all those people!  And, when you can still feel the love, that's all that really matters, isn't it.  Thank you again.  May you have a wonderful holiday season filled with love and joy as well!

My wife and I have been talking about volunteer work this year, but we have yet to decide where.

Great post Suzanne.  I think some folks think the season of giving means internally.  As Mr. Spock said, the more you give, the more you have.....  I agree....  Merry Christmas.

Hmmm.  Cousins.  That's an interesting way to think of your blog buddies!

JL - Thanks for the reply...been so busy that I have been known to fall asleep in my chair.  Sorry, I didn't resond sooner.  Take care.  I'll be back checking your blog this weekend.

Dean, Thanks for the response, too. I wholeheartedly agree.  If we still can give, we have more to receive.  I wish we could impart that to more people.....I guess they either get it or they don't.

Patricia.  I have to believe that we are all one big happy family here.  You know how cousins can be....some you love, some you look at and wonder how they even got here.  You....are in the first catgory!  Merry Christmas, if I don't get to wish you that between now and then!

Merry Christmas to you and yours! Best wishes for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity in 2009!

Santa update: Local radar at the top of my chimney indicates that Santa has just passed by, once again failing to stop at my place. I don't know if Rudolph is scared of the radar thingy at the top of my chimney, or if my chimney is too skinny for Santa.

Christmas can be lonely, too.  It was for us this year, but I won't let that happen next year!
