While driving to and along the North Shore of Oahu this past Saturday and Sunday I started noticing murals on buildings. I snapped the one above in hopes I could find out more about this talented artist who signed the murals as Ron Artis.
Ron Artis' website at www.ronartis.com says he is a disabled vet who will always give the best to his country. He has painted many a mural inside US Navy Ships and Submarines and looking through many pages on his site I was amazed at the talent of this artist and what he is doing around our island and for the military to "help create a better environment to live in" he says.
I researched further and to my further amazement found that Ron and his wife Victoria trained all of their children the gift of artistic expression and they also play musicand have made many cd's! With a 'paradise sound' their music is delivered to our ears with many different styles.
Where have I been??
I now know where all these murals came from and will pay more attention to this wonderful artist and his family of talented artists.
