Why visual content is important to your clients and readers. Here are 2 reasons…

Services for Real Estate Pros with Malfi Marketing Solutions ~ for real estate professionals

Do you consider yourself a visual personHow about your clients?  Do you leave them trying to image and envisionwhat your listings truly look like?  Perhaps they are missing the point of your blog because you only have text and don't have pictures to help tell the story.

I thought it would be a helpful reminder to many about the importance of photos and pictures when it comes to your listings and blogging.

Blogging

Do your words run on and on with no photos to break up your text and relate to and further your point of your blog?  If you're not putting photos on your blog - look at your comments - are you getting as much as you want or feel the topic deserves?  This is not to say that it's all about the photos, the content must be there - but having photos also conveys your message and is visually pleasing and in my opinion encourages your reader to continue reading your post and hopefully comment.

Your Listings

Listings with photos, multiple, high quality photos notoriously generate more views and traffic.  There is nothing more annoying to someone then to look at a listing only to see outside shorts (no interior) and worse yet, photos that are blurry, upside down and just poor quality.

What do you think goes through their minds?  - Not the home for me and quite possibly not the agent for me.  Who wants to waste their time seeing a home they know nothing about and who wants an agent without much attention to detail?

Trust me, clients will appreciate great photos that will allow them to get an idea of what this home looks like and if it meets their needs.   Keep in mind, this also saves you time and your energy will be focused on setting up appointments and bringing visitors to this listing who think it could possibly work for them.  Sure there are no guarantees but you have possibly just made the time spent showing this home more productive for everyone.   It comes down to working smarter, not harder.

Creating visually pleasing listings and blog posts gives your site visitors and potential clients insight to you, your services, your attention to detail and your creativity.

While you're at it - why not create a realestateshow for your blog and website that "completes" the full picture of your listing and your services.  What better way to give your clients a "full" picture of their new potential neighborhood and again highlighting the services and marketing approach you will be offering for their listing.

Need some help?

Visit my friend here on ActiveRain - Castellum- who have created a great list of free photo websites to add to your blog.  My friends also have a list for blog topics so be sure to pay their group a visit here: Castellum Photo List.

Hire me for 1 hour to show you how to add photos to your blog and set them up so they are visually pleasing to your readers.  Don't have time but want to blog?  If you have the content, I have the time and ability to put your weekly blogs together for you - I can load them into ActiveRain and then you can just change from draft to public when you're ready to share your post.

Do you typically read blogs without photos?

If you were a buyer would you schedule an appt to see a home that did not have photos or at least good photos posted?

I completely agree that quality photos will make a post stand out.  Thank you for passing along the information on the free photo sites as well. That's always a good thing to have.

Excellent points about improving the reader's experience.  I think our brains just function in certain ways. It is much easier to go with the flow than to expect to retain everyone with dauntingly dense copy.

Oh, I am totally a very visual person and firmly believe how a picture tells a thousand words and that presentation is everything.

Have you been reading my blogs and not commenting again ??? . . . because I think you must be talking about ME!!!  Yes -- you are right -- if I don't have a great before and after photo, I am just lazy and don't add a photo . . . I have been duly chastised and will work harder.

Great post!

Hi Fran, yes, I thought it would be helpful to offer this service to the many agents and real estate professionals out here that need more free time or at least time to focus on the tasks that produce more revenue opportunities.  We all know how much time and effort it takes to put blog posts together and so if someone has the content I have the time to help them put it together.  Thanks for stopping by to comment my friend.
