Stick a Fork in It!

You know the drill, we all sit down at Thanksgiving dinner with our family and the do-gooder (every family has one) thinks he/she is being original when proposing, “Let’s go around the table and say what each of us is thankful for.”  You think, but don’t say, ‘Stick a fork it in, Goody Two Shoes!  I have been waiting all day to eat!’ To help you this Thanksgiving, Viscape asked its crazy and wacky staff to offer up what they are thankful for.  So, if you get tongue tied or have a brain lapse at the table, think back to this blog post and feel free to plagiarize!

dantelling:  What I am thankful for - My cats.  They make me laugh!

dcarlow:  I am thankful for my imaginary friend, who I bounce ideas off of when I can’t get anyone on the phone or by email (working from home can get lonely sometimes)!

Jessica_Nunemaker:  I am thankful for days when our three-year-old sleeps until 7, for self cleaning litter boxes, washable markers, and the art of the written word.  I am thankful for babysitters, days that don’t start with an alarm clock, “dates” with my husband, and Viscape: for making vacation planning fun and easy!

Mistyfau:  I am thankful for the 7:00 a.m. alarm clock not going off and not having to hit it once, twice, three….times that morning because I can’t fathom why the sun is shining that early through the sun roof put into my bedroom while simultaneously trying to snuff out the snores of my boyfriend who decided not to use the “Breath Rite” today.  The pillows just aren’t working anymore.

Carlin: I’m thankful for in-flight meal service; especially on international flights.  There’s nothing like a warm chicken patty and unlimited cran-apple juice to keep you satisfied over the Atlantic!
