comments on titles

So I have heard more than once, watch what you say, hold your tongue, you do not need to say everything that comes to mind.  My favorite, I really never know what is going to come out of your mouth.

So here’s the deal, the blog titles are a never ending source of amusement for me.  Thank goodness I read the blogs before I comment, however here are a few comments I have for the titles:

Don’t Look-by Benjamin Jenks----  Do I click on this blog?  Is this a test?

Do I have a screw loose? - Tom Sinclair—You must have a screw list your in real estate.

Don’t be a “Pop Tart”-Dan Wies-Ok but what kind of “Tart” should I be?

Baby, I Need Your Lovin!-Scott Gormley-Well your kind of cute but...

Active Rain is better than sex-Maureen McCabe- You are doing it wrong!

How Does a Realtor Buy a House?-Jennifer Steck-This must be very assuring to your clients.

At least no one wet their pants-Beth Skinner- And all is good with the world...

Ok I will go back to holding my tongue.

Always interesting to put 25000 real estate professionals together in one place. You never know what kind of marketing you'll get, as evidenced here : ) Have a good week.

Hi Beth, there are quite a few titles that have caught my eye. Now I'll have to go back and check your list.

I am proud of my entry which is a members only blog about social networking. I'm glad I used a title that got some attention.  IMHO my entry is a well written with new information.  I only hope some clicked on the links in the article and learned more about social networking.  It's an important subject, the internet is changing.

It comes from a story covered on a bunch of tech blogs last week with various titles and double entendre about the fact that sex is not driving the most traffic on the internet now, social networking, MySpace.com, Second Life, Facebook etc. are.

I chose to link to a tech blog with a title "Social Networking Dethroning Sex in Terms of Online Traffic" great article but that  title really didn't do anything for me, but they had some great content that other tech blogs with racier titles did not have.  The actual article in The Economist online ( a publication from Great Britain that's been around since sometime in the 1800's) is titled "Is lascivious online content, traditionally on top, losing its lustre?"
