Some celebrities cannot seem to live without media spotlight. Tori Spelling, daughter the famous Aaron Spelling, has listed her 3300 square foot home in L.A. for sale. The kicker to the story is that the listing agent contacted the Los Angeles Times about the listing before was even listed.
This marketing ploy has been used by celebrities and more than one case over the years. Stars have a tendency to call attention to themselves when all they really want is publicity. While many stars do this in a negative manner some use careful information leakages as a way to increased traffic to their websites. In this case, the increased traffic was to a real estate listing that did not exist.
The home was originally thought to be placed on the market for $2,395,000. Three days after the leak to Los Angeles Times the home finally showed up on real estate listings in the Los Angeles area.
The new real estate listing now offers details about the spelling home as well as a variety of pictures. The home offers an inground pool, large spacious rooms, a top of a line kitchen, huge family room, huge living rooms, and an outrageous dining room with wallpaper that is just not our style. With five bedrooms and three in 1/2 baths the $2,395,000 price tag is a steal.
