Spaghetti Cat has become a legend.

If you haven't heard of Spaghetti Cat (or "SC" as he's come to be known by many), you probably haven't been surfing the web nearly enough or watching "The Soup." In what started out as an innocent and odd appearance of a cat eating spaghetti on a television show, SC sightings have taken over the nation. I for one am obsessed with Spaghetti Cat (even naming the strange cat that lives under our deck after him) and once you see him, you will be too.

So a friend sent me the video you see above and what do I discover?

The video is made by my friend, Parry Gripp. Some of you many know him as the front man for the band Nerf Herder and I know him from many legendary tours. My band took Nerf Herder out as frequently as possible after we met. They were hilarious, played great music, and were awesome guys to hang out with. Parry Gripp also writes tons of other songs and if you want to spend the next hour or so of your day laughing, visit his site, www.parrygripp.com. I hope you not only fall in love with Spaghetti Cat, but you fall in love with Parry's weird sense of humor. I do warn those of you that don't like too much of that "noise" the kids these days listen to, although Parry is not at all something to be afraid of, he does use punk rock rhythms and distorted guitars (I thought I ought to throw that in, so that no one would be too shocked). Enjoy!

special thanks to my friend @DrewFrsitoe for sending this to me this morning

Jason - Even for no points, I'll blog about SC all day long!  Parry Gripp is a genius.  He wrote a song for a local (PA) convenience stores hoagie (you know, a sub sandwich or whatever you call them in Austin) that is hilarious.  He might be one of my favorite musicians of all time.  By the way, I saw you've got 3 closed this month.  Congratulations.
