Each and every one of us has complained at one time or another about property taxes.  This morning, when signing online, I came across a great article which I've chosen to share with all.

Go to the "Money" section of MSN>  There you will find an article "Are you paying too much in property taxes?  It is well worth the read.  Most realtors will do an updated CMA on your home for free to determine if your home is over assessed.  Most townships will accept this.  If this doesn't work, an appraisor usually charges between $300-400.  Call your town and find out when grievance day is and start working on this.

Also, if you haven't applied for the STAR program, please remember that the cut off date on that is March 1.
