Holiday Lights On the River, Saluda Shoal Parkin Irmo SC
So many options with so little time. If you keep up with my blog you will see and be seeing a ton of Holiday activities being posted. Columbia and Lexington South Carolina has so many things to do.
Saluda Shoal Park is a 300 acre preserve on the lower Saluda River right near the Lake Murray Dam as its head water in the shadows of Lexington and Columbia. Miles of walking trails and river access. Great trout fishing (or so my husband says) and just a beautiful place to spend a day loafing and pick nicking.
Through December it also has a great drive through lights display. The largest in the Midlands. It features over 300 themed and animated light displays on this 2 mile loop of Saluda Shoals Park. New this year is the dancing forest featuring dancing lighted trees and a special featuring Frosty the snow man.
So much fun and a great way to vamp up your Christmas season.
