Who doesn't love art?  Especially if it's custom art.  I have heard and received a wide range of closing gifts but the most effective can be a custom piece of art illustrating the owners new home.  Whether it be abstract or fine detail, people always appreciate the gesture and love to talk about it.

I am blessed to have a very talented family member who attends the Savannah College of Art and Design.  He obviously helps me out with this, but in talking to many of his artist friends and local artists here it can really be affordable depending on how much detail and time. 

So contact an area artist whose style you appreciate and throw the idea to them....I think you could be suprised and how much value can be created with little expense...especially if you can bring them future business.
