Good stuff and a great reminder. Looking under the hood is hard at first but it is always worth it.
John- Great post. I think this can also mean looking beneath a person's exterior. Sometimes we size someone up in the first few seconds of meeting them and miss out on a lot of what was on the inside!
A great reminder of the facts. And even makes me wonder why he did not wonder why it was obviously too good to be true himself! We try to teach this to our clients all the time. A person can do a lot of research and study a lot of stuff about any number of things, but overlloking the obvious and assuming an engine is included means he did not do the right research and preparation to achieve his goal.
