December is now upon us and a lot is happening in the real estate market both locally and nationally.  Words like "credit crisis", "bailouts", and "change" have become common place in our daily conversations.  The great news is that our market has not been impacted to the extent of other markets across the country.  Sales volumes have dropped off around 18%, but prices have remained steady and in some areas of the local market marginally increased.  It is still a good time to buy and sell a home especially if you are considering investment properties. Yesterday it was reported that we have been in an economic recession since December 2007 (a great time to share that report after a down black Friday - more media hype).  On the surface that may sound bad, but the good news is that we are that much closer to getting out of the recession.  Enjoy the topics below and for more visit NE Houston Real Estate | Williams4YourHome.
