Goodwill Store in Warminster is located at Street Road and St Davids , near Thunderbird lanes.

You can drive close to the side entrance and someone will be waiting there to help you . You can ask for a receipt for tax purposes.

I used to call a charity and wait for them to come to the house on their scheduled day but now I go to Goodwill whenever I have things I want to donate.

Many people will be giving less cash to charities this year but we may be able to give a lot of things that we do not use, or have out grown . I know they will not take a TV that was manufactured prior to year 2000.

If you live in the area, please donate at Goodwill. You can go into the store if you wish and maybe you will find something you can use.

Gita I LOVE Goodwill.  Unfortunately the few that used to be near me have closed.  There are still some Salvation Army stores around but Goodwill seemed to have better prices in my opinion.  I've always trolled thrift and consignment shops for tons of stuff - books, clothes, toys, movies - it's a great way to recycle!

Hi Gita,
Goodwill, Salvation Army -- two very worthy charities that do so very much to help those in need.

This is good information.  Sometimes you move to a new location and you are not sure where to bring your items.  I know it took us a little bit of time when moving to North Dallas.  Now, I feel like we go there at least once a week.

Great post and good suggestion.  We often forget how important the donations of "things" can be.  Thanks for sharing.

Gita, is a good reminder to donate items and to remind sellers that they can do the same !  Is very important and goes to a great cause.

I had a listing which was an estate sale and the daughter was from out of town. It was easy for her to take a lot of the things to Goodwill store .
