Brad, that is a great view. Living in the mountains, and I still can not snow board.
To me, this photo just captures the moment. (that's my son btw..) I'm honored to be in a group where I can share with friends. I hope to be a regular contributor here. I love photography, so thanks for this opportunity to have some fun and share with others. :-)
Hi Brad - Now what would really be cool, would be you on that Boogie-Board (or whatever they call them these days). Looks a little like Snowmass Big Burn! Good thing you kept your words under 50 LOL ;-) hahaha...You know we all love ya.....big smiles
Rich - thanks, the only path I wouldn't take is through those trees!! LOL~
Chris - it was breathtaking.. He didn't even know I was there taking the shot.
Danny - you can do anything you want to, including snowboarding. Choices my friend, it's all about choices.
Gail - I only use ski's these days. I knew I'd get a chance to use my 50 words here in the comments!! LOL~
Renee - I love your creative interpretation. It's also a Great "caption" for this photo, thx! :-))
Yikes.... great photo, but there's no way I'll ever see that vantage point. Heights and I do not get along.
Jesse - thanks. Does all that white stuff look familiar? When are you going to have an AR Gathering in AK? I'd love to come there to get some future photos for Wordless Wednesdays. :-)) (btw-I hate heights too)
Howdy Brad
That there sure does look like a place, I lived for a bit. Back in 76 when I was not able to be around folk's. After comen home from Vietnam.
Dale - this was at the top of Kirkwood Ski Resort in Tahoe. If you lived there, lucky you!! :-))
That must be you sitting there thinking
"Crap, is there another way down the mountain?? This is WAY to steep!!"
Brad, Beautiful pic! I remember Kirkwood, lived in Tahoe from 74-76. Never a skiier, tho!
Debi
Debi - we couldn't have asked for better weather that day, this moment was just priceless to me. My son is away in college, this was a trip where he came up to visit me. We had a blast!
Brad, great picture. Is that you sitting on the ground? Tahoe is beautiful in the summer or winter ;-)
Teri - that's my oldest son, debating and contemplating his path and next move. He's a very smart, very talented young man, and great guy too. He does this same thing in Life, carefully plans, and then attacks and gets what he wants in the world. This shot really says it all. :-)
Brad, you sound like a very proud dad...;-) I like that! Good for your son...suspect he takes after his father. ;-)
