Home Stagers...I have tried Real Estate Shows in NH and they are helping my home staging business. Click on this link if you'd like some more background information on home staging and Real Estate shows.

res.realestateshows.com/staging/

  • Are the words "real estate show" turning you off? Home stagers can advertise with RES.
  • Are you thinking the program sounds too hard? Definitely not hard; don't need special computer know-how.
  • Worried you don't have the right camera? You don't need an expensive camera.
  • Too time consuming? Once you understand how to create a show, they don't take much time.

home staging nh shows

  • YOU choose the beautiful staged home photos that appear on your show
  • YOU write the text that appears to serve your purpose of creating the show
  • YOU can create a show that advertises your home staging business, your latest staging job, a customer testimonial.
  • YOU can create a show that announces a Broker Open House & who professionally staged it
  • YOU can email this show to anyone you want without paying for expensive brochures, and without constantly updating your website gallery.
  • YOU can take pictures of your area and create a show to post on Localism at Active Rain.
  • YOU can link your website to your Active Rain blog. This allows your website visitors to read your blogs and see the shows that you've put inside your blogs (like I've done here). **This is important, because you are updating your before & after picture gallery thru your real estate shows instead of constantly updating your website.
  • FYI: Putting a link in your website that connects to Active Rain gives you 400-600 points and, more importantly, it provides fresh new content to your website every time you blog, which Google likes.

I staged a home last Friday in Hampton, NH. The next morning was the public Open House. I arrived early, primped the house, then snapped my staged photographs. (check it out, above show.)

A potential buyer arrived who was quite interested in the house, and whose wife could not attend. I mentioned that I could email his wife some pictures; would he like that? Oh, yes he would!

I went home, downloaded my pictures, and created a Real Estate Show. Then I emailed the show to the NH realtor and potential buyer.

The realtor was impressed and asked how I got such an awesome "virtual tour" from my little camera? "Well, I could come by your office and show you how I do this." Now we're getting somewhere! An opportunity to sit down with this realtor, get to know each other.

Thanks, Real Estate Shows.

Staged First Impressions, New Hampshire 's home staging company.

EDIT ADDED: Sarah Cooper writes a blog about Home Staging Shows, very worthwhile info here.

Thanks Sue for posting.

Jeff - I sent a message last night with my URL as instructed in a separate blog.  Should I anticipate a call or an email to get started?

Jeff - never mind.  No sooner had I posted this response, I received an email.  THANKS!  I'm excited about the opportunities that this affords the staging community.

Thanks again.

I think the big difference is that with the new RES staging account is that when we sign up a realtor we can create a show for them and include their personal branding information on the show then they can post it to MLS.  If you just purchase the $125 subscription you can create as many shows as you want to show off your business but realtors cannot post them on Realtor.com or MLS.

Sue your show looks great!

Maureen, this was my attempt to SIMPLIFY the whole deal and let everyone know the benefits...not sure I was clear :(

Perhaps my Home Staging Show says it all...I hope so.

Sue:  Great job -- the pictures were clear, crisp and inviting -- I also thought the music was much better than on some tours!  Very nice.

Yvonne, make sure you fully understand how this works before you go in. There are many benefits for home stagers that aren't clearly outlined in these blogs. Phone Maureen Henry for specifics, as she is the one that has helped design it.

Hi sue,

Iam a friend of george tallabas here in idaho, and i just did a show . I love it and i got my client into to it as well. she uses virtural tours and each one she does costs her 125.00 a show. she loved the fact that it was only 125.00 a year and you can make as many as you want. George loves doing the shows and he got me hooked. My website will be up in 3 days and i will put my show on there. Also, puting them on creig's list for advertising your business is a good one George came up with. Thanks for the blog on it!  maria

Maria- thanks for mentioning George's success with Craigslist.

Anyone that would like info about Craig's list and use of featured tours, adding V-flyers, read the great blogs here at Active Rain from George Tallabas and Maureen Henry.

Also, I have personally spoken with these 2 folks and they are very sweet people who are very willing to answer questions! xoxo

Have you read Maureen Henry's blog on RES's Home Staging Shows?

There is a video link in Jeff Turner's comment that will help you. Have you seen that?

This is a great market savvy way to advertise your buisness, or to offer your clients, the competive edge over other agents in their area. Here is a sample of a few minutes putting this together of my Home Staging Businesss. Thank you Sue.
