Where is President Bush when the US is in this debacle?

The world is in a mess...most (other than FOX) is giving Obama air time...however...HE IS NOT THE PRESIDENT...

What, we have to wait until January for help?

Every time I see Obama on TV, it makes me cringe, why?  Because the person that should be addressing us is President Bush.  Not Obama, and what he might be able to do, if/when he takes over next year.

It's bad enough that the media chose this President-elect....even worse...there IS NO CHANGE...the Americans who voted for the Democratic party, are now realizing that it is a "bait and switch"...

NO CHANGE HERE...just a lot of typical politics...so sad...now look at what we have to deal with... a President elect with no clue, relying on Clinton interns...

Ugh...

OH well,,,what does that tell you about young Americans???

Did they graduate from high school?  Do they know what they even voted to change?  Do they even understand why they voted?

If you know, please tell.

You should watch the YouTube video on Obama voters, it is really scary. Just search Why Obama won and it will pop up. It's like Leno in the street, they have no clue.....

I was thinking the same thing. Where is the change, he is appointing the same people that were in charge with the last democratic president. There will be no change. Things in Washington will only get worse as they lead us into a depression like this world has never seen. God help us as our leaders surely won't. Bush is to busy packing p the white house to be bothered with helping lead this country.

Only time will tell. The future doesn't look very promising.

Our country would be in chaos no matter who won the election so let's not put this on Obama!  Bush is just the worst President in the history of the United States, period!

Hey, "I was thinking the same...can you log in...I like your comments...the more the merrier"

The problem with President Bush is...the media doesn't want his opinion...after all the media is the one who elected Obama through the power's that be...and they don't want to give air time to Bush even if he has something to say...

Laura Bush was classy,.,no more needs said...pigs feet, or whatever, pickled....

Evening Karen,  I agree Bush should at least make an attempt to clean up some of his messes.  On the other hand maybe he is helping by staying low and polishing up his " Legacy ".  Give Obama a break.  He chose some very bright and experienced people to help us get back on track.  Some of his choices might have also been chosen by McCain !  We need to support him in a very challenging and volatile world.

Bill,

I don't know why, but I have a gift of seeing through a BSer...I have to live under Obama...however, as has been said in the media...He is surrounding himself with Clintonians...as he has no clue how to lead, never been in the postition, and his right hand man is chosing...not him.

Just watch, Hillary...2 years from now will resign, and try to take over the Presidential position...in 2012...

Obama is not a good orator without a prewritten speech...That is why he doesn't take many questions...Then again, when he answers any questions, they are as evasive as..."who milked the cow?"

Our country will get the change we need when our citizens start taking responsibility and making this the kind of nation we all talk about wanting, starting in our homes and communities and then by taking enough interest in national politics to hold our government officials accountable for their actions.

Bush is where he has been for the last 8 years hiding hoping this will go away and not knowing what to do. It is too bad he isn't doing anything noteworthy during the nations most trying times.

Terry,

With all due respect, does anyone know what to do?

Do you have any suggestions?  What would you do?

The entire world seems to be at a loss for words.  Are you?

Bush has no clue whatsoever, that's why he's nowhere to be seen...

Beside, even with Obama, it can't be worse than what W. administration has done during 8 years...

Claude,

With add due respect...we now have national security and we've been forturnate enough not to have another 911...to say the least.

Do you think Obama knows how to run the US, I don't, I just hope his new cabinet doesn't turn on him...and I think they might.

JIM,

And how do you think Obama will do better, then again, our local newpaper says he was born in Kenya and is not even qualified for the position...as, the California Governor is not either...but Arnold knows it.

Hi Karen - Interesting post as I too share your frustration as with some solid leadership we could easily solve our issues.

I am a Obama supporter simply because I am sick and tired of being hoodwinked by Bush, Cheney, et. al.  Rightfully so, the Voters choose to select new leaders from our other dominant political party.  Anyway, like you, for the life of me I do not know where Bush and his team are hiding as we go through the greatest debacle in our lifetime (at least for me).

Also, the facts are in.......just in case you missed it.  So blame it on the media or whatever dubious source BUT OBAMA DID GARNER THE MAJORITY OF VOTES!!! Again, some got hung up on strict partisanship or other factors but most people I talk to (and this year in particular I have been fortunate to have traveled to many states and have spoken to many people of various ethnicity's, political persuasions, etc.) and while it may have been confused as some type of ploy - the facts are People Want Change!!!!  and they Want Solid Leadership.  Also, President Obama is no Savior, but let's face it.........although some of his picks have come from the Clinton era............at this point I don't care, as I would rather take the person(s) who contributed the our nation's economic success, rather than pick people/team who prescribe to a certain ideology simply because that's "the way it has always been done" and who simply have no strategy for Change because they are "afraid of the other guys!!!!!"

Bush hiding

Anyway as I shared with a colleague in our office - I supported and am looking forward to President Obama being a SYMBOL (again, it will take US to make this world better) and provide inspiration so we can come out of hiding and claim our stake as a world leader..........and by the way, get our economy going.

God willing I will be at the inauguration.  Again, partly for Obama but moreso for our Nation because I know we can do whatever we want to do as long as people are honest and communicate with the people versus the trickery we have suffered through during the past 8 years.

Have a peaceful and enjoyable Holiday Season!!!!!

Fred T.,

From what I'm hearing the networks do not want to give Bush airtime...Then again, I'm not sure why they are giving it to Obama...He is not the President yet.

I'm still worried about Obama running the country, then again, he has no experience so it will be under the control of his cabinet...and the Clintons...as those are the choices apparent in this time.

Karen you're killin' me.  What don't you understand about 53% (Majority of U.S. Voters) approved President-elect Obama?  Again, that experience or the Clinton line is smoke and mirror and you know it - look what so-called experience got us????    Those commens polarize and keep people divided people which is why politics is so emotional - it's Us versus Them, when we all need each other!!!!

The campaign is OVER so know is our time to get behind the person who the people elected (maybe they know something others refuse to admit).  Anyway, I'm sure he will make mistakes but you don't have the be perfect - just the desire to do the right thing!!!!!!

Seems like you have a beef with President elect Obama..........but then again, that's your perogative - Life is too short :)
