Pinellas Park is a residential community at the heart of Pinellas County. Compared to other cities in the county, it’s small, with only about 45,000 people living there full time. The city is landlocked, yet only a few miles from the renowned Gulf Coast beaches, with Tampa an easy drive over the Howard Frankland Bridge (or the Gandy bridge, depending on where in Tampa you’re headed).
One of the big points of pride among the residents of Pinellas Park is its status as a Tree City. Residents and business owners alike have taken great care in their artistic landscaping. The city Parks Department only uses native plants in municipal landscaping. The focus on trees and other plants in Pinellas Park has made it a standout among the cities of Pinellas County, with an abundance of natural settings, landscaped parks, manicured roadways, and exquisitely maintained private lawns.
If you’re planning a stay in Pinellas Park and looking for unique lodgings, you won’t be disappointed. The Horse and Buggy Bed and Breakfast Inn is there to serve you. Located on a 12-acre farm, the inn provides hay and carriage rides to guests, as well as horseback riding excursions. The inn is located near the popular Wagon Wheel Flea Market, which houses over 3,000 vendors and is open every weekend. The flea market provides a genuine shopping adventure, with tens of thousands of unique and hard to find items available at rock bottom prices.
Pinellas Park doesn’t lack for cultural opportunities, either. The Pinellas Park Art Society has a free art gallery for public viewing, and offers a variety of classes and workshops featuring guest artists. The Tampa Bay Automobile Museum is also in down, and features over 40 vintage cars dating all the way back to the 1920s. The museum is open every day except Tuesday, so make sure you put it on your list of places to see! When you come to Pinellas Park, you’ll find something to please everyone in your family, and it’s sure to be a memorable trip!

I've only been to the Gulf Coast once but it was beautiful. I love the beaches there.
