I posted about staging my first "lite" stage earlier this week. The Realtor called and said she leased the property and wanted to move the furnishings to another home. Not a problem, so we scheduled the move for today. I was on my way to de-stage the first home, the Realtor calls...STOP, they backed out. Ok, that's fine I hadn't arrived at the property yet.

Then here it comes...can you still stage the second home today, I have a 6:00 showing.

My mind was racing and I said let me get back to you. Knowing my inventory was low. I needed to see what I had.  This was only a lite staging job but I took the challenge.  After scraping the bottom of my inventory, a quick trip to Pier 1 and a run through my own home this is what came of it.  This was on a very small budget, I staged the living area, kitchen and two baths. I'm a little nervous because the Realtor wasn't going to be able to view the property before her showing at 6:00. Hope she likes it!

You are my kind of take charge gal!  Those photos sure look so much better than vacant -- wonderful -- I'm sure the realtor was pleased!

A very important trait that we stagers have is that we can work with what we have and make it look great.  You definitely made the most of this emergency staging......way to go!

Cathy, It was a good thing that I had that day scheduled for her, that helped.

Margaret,  I hope the Realtor liked it, I'm sure I'll hear from her today. It doesn't look like it would if I had more time to plan it, and time to shop for it. I'm buying inventory as I go and didn't have a lot to work from...but I did what I could on a moments notice.

Marianne, As I was posting this I was thinking about how this was going to be many of days like this to come...so I better be up for the challenge.

Wanda, I'll be out all day today and most of Friday, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I'd be happy to talk more with you.

Donna ~ Good job working with just a few hours notice!  This realtor should be very grateful for your willingness to help out at the last minute.  Your "lite staging" will help this property for sure.

Hello Donna, my favorite northwest Arkansas Stager!  Very good job pulling this off so quickly.  I would suspect you have a Realtor as a partner for life now.  Agents become very loyal clients when you can truly take care of them.  Good job.

Donna ~ I'd say you did very good for "scraping the bottom" of your inventory! I'm sure she will be pleased.

Maureen, It did help, at the 6:00 showing the Realtor wanted to know if they bought the home could they also purchase the furnishings.  Thanks for the feature.

Gary,  Good to hear from you. I'm glad I'm your favorite NWA stager, I appreciate your support. This Realtor called me today with another job.  She loved it, the sellers loved it, and the showing she had loved it also. It sure would be nice to have it sold 3 hours after staging. What great stats that would be.

Kathy, Thanks, the Realtor was pleased and called me with another job today.

Laurie, Thank you!

Ronelle, The Realtor, and sellers loved it. I was a little shaken by the short notice. But the "I'll get back with you" Gives me time to think it through.

Mary,  Thank you, I do love a challenge, even if it stresses me out that day, after words I think it wasn't so bad after all.

Terrylynn, I did the best I could that day. I think the RE thought I had the day scheduled for her so it was not a problem. It was a lesson for both of us.

Donna....I don't know about you, but I find that its in those kind of low budget or pressure situations that my best ideas are born! I think you did a great job...I'm sure you will have glowing recommendations from the realtor.
