I am a member... I have been getting his blog posts emailed to me for a few weeks now so I am a new fan of Seth.  '

Give me some insight to why he doesn't take comments to his blog????  Just curious.

@Marlene - Thanks for joining our group.  Seth explained (years ago - scary I remember the post but hey I am a fan...) why he doesn't take comments.  I dug it up for you:

He does have trackbacks so if you use his trackback link it should show on his blog.

Josef:  I am more than a little late to this parade... but better late than never.  Thanks for the link to his post about not taking comments.  Once I got there... I took time to explore Seth and his ideas... and will probably be found tomorrow morning at either Borders or Barnes & Noble looking at Tribes, Permission Marketing, and his other books.  Thanks so much.

I think Seth Godin's ideas have truly changed and continue to change the way we do business.  I love what he had to say on our sight today http://lifebyme.com

This was Seth's comment on the site:

"In every moment of my day, it occurs to me that I have one of three choices of how I can deal with time. Those choices are:

1. “When will this be over?” This is what it sounds like when I’m hoping time will pass quickly, so I can get on to the next thing.

2. “mmmmhmmmhmmhm” This is the sound of static, of white noise, of being unaware of the moment at all.

3. “How can I use this platform?” And this is the question of our lives. This is inquiring how we can use a tiny window of opportunity to create something we’re proud of, to do work worth doing, to invest time instead of waste it.

What I’ve discovered is that the more I go with option three, the happier I am. The more I get done, the more impact I have. And, amazingly, the more I focus on option three, the less likely I am to experience the other two types of time."
