Celebrate the Holiday Season in Canton Michigan:
The 30th Annual Tree Lighting Event will take place on Wednesday, December 3 at 7pm. The "official Canton" tree will be lit in front of the Summit on the Park, located at 46000 Summit Parkway. Special family festivities will take place both indoors and outside in Heritage Park, from 6-9pm. There will be a large variety of activities, including seasonal entertainment, refreshments, holiday crafts, and more. Pre-registration is not required.
Santa Claus Still Wants to Hear From You! Canton Leisure Services has made very special arrangements with the U.S. Post Office and Santa's helpers at the North Pole to make sure your letters get directly to the jolly guy himself. To mail your letters to Santa Claus, just drop them in the North Pole Express mailbox in the Summit on the Park's lobby now through December 6th. Santa asks that you print your name and address clearly so that he may reply to your letters.
Start a new family tradition by experiencing Christmas in the Village Home Tour and More on Saturday, December 13 from 4-8 p.m. Great fun for the whole family! Spend Christmas in the Village and enjoy: strolling entertainment, holiday treats, games, crafts, carriage rides, and so much more. Plus participants ages 12 and older can take a tour through the 8 seasonaly decorated homes in the Village as part of the Holiday Home Tour. This event, sponsored by the Cherry Hill Village Homeowners Association and Canton Leisure services, will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan.
