I love it when The Mountain shows up as clearly as this day.

By the way, this is a photo of Mout Rainier, taken from south of Yelm WA, near Olympia & Tacoma. Just in case any non-south sounders were reading and wondered what the fuss is about.

Hi Kevin & Moncia, That is Mount Rainier, just southeast of Seattle, and eastnortheast of Olympia. It was partly visible from the Zillow headquarters yesterday. The base anyway. The mountain you see from Portland is probably Mt Hood, or even possibly Mt St Helens.

Hi Jennifer- I missed this comment earlier! Yes, that is a great spot to see the mountain. Just lovely pasture and forest and not a lot of traffic or exhaust funes to mess up the view!
