I am the business manager and licensed agent for the Mountain Living team, in Frisco, Colorado.  Our town was named by miners who came to Colorado from California during the gold rush.  Naming places after their hometowns must have made them feel less homesick.  Many of the old mining claims around here have women's names, as the miners named them after girlfriends and wives.  Frisco still has many old historic structures but it is now a mix of vacation homes, condos, gift shops and restaurants.  We are only seven minutes from Copper Mountain, so we have a ski area of our own as well.  Breckenridge is about 15 minutes away and Keystone is a little further at about 20 minutes.  Even Vail is only 30 minutes!  We are about an hour from the western edge of Denver, so our area is a prime second home market for the Denver metro area.
