Fun Things to do in The Woodlands!

There is something for everyone in The Woodlands!  You can literally live here and not ever have to leave-unless of course you have to go to the airport.  Here is a list of some of my favorite things to do in The Woodlands!

Town Center- Located right off of I-45, Town Center is where you will find the majority of the shopping and dining.  Stop by the mall for some great shopping then head over to the Courtyard! Must See! Outdoor shopping with National Restaurant names like P.F. Chang's and Cheesecake Factory.

The Courtyard is the heart of The Waterway where you can hop on a Water Taxi and go for a ride!

Market Street- Although this is technically part of Town Center it deserves a category of its own! It is a very scenic outdoor mall with designer shops, a central park for kids and no shortage of restaurants!  FYI-In the winter they bring snow for the kids!

The Children's Museum-Located in the mall stop by the Museum for a little fun for the kiddos!  It is a great place on a rainy day-and then you can go downstairs to the play area!

Northshore Park-Picnic anyone? This park is located on the lake complete with playground and picnic grounds.

Catch a movie- We have two theatres. There is Tinseltown by the mall and another one at Market street.

Catch a Concert- Also in the heart of Town Center is Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion which hosts Popular Musicians on Tour, Houston Symphony, The Annual Children's Festival and more!

Walk The Waterway-Similar to the San Antonio Riverwalk is The Woodlands Waterway. Take a relaxing stroll with amazing scenery around Town Center. The Waterway is still expanding so if you see it this month, you might be surprised a couple months from now!

Fore!-Attention all golfers! The Woodlands has courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Fazio for a total of ATLEAST 6 courses. To be honest, I've lost count.

Hike and Bike-Miles and Miles! 145 miles to be exact with more on the way!

Sports Anyone?-Tennis, Basketball, Skateboard Parks, Dog Parks, BMX Tracks, Picnic Pavilions and Playfields EVERYWHERE!

Town Green Park-I forgot about this one until Ambassador Dave reminded me! This is a definite Don't Miss!  This is a new park across from the HEB Woodlands Market at Market Street with a maze and walkway around The Waterway. Check out all of the wildlife! We saw Egrets, Turtles, Fish...You will also find a phenomenal view of Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and every other business along The Waterway.

Add it all up and there is ALOT to do here.  The best part is most of this is FREE! The Woodlands is constantly expanding and I will keep you posted on the upcoming events and attractions.  So, go have some fun! Click play below for a short video on The Woodlands.

I would agree... The Woodlands Texas is a great place to live, work, and play!

The Woodlands Texas is growing and evolving on a constant basis, seems like there is something new all the time. I really like The Woodlands Waterway fountains!
