We're now winding down the year for real estate in Springfield Missouri. With the news of bad markets across the country, our market has been affected too. However, we have not seen prices drop as drastic.
This past week, interest rates for conventional financing dropped to 5.25%. Lenders are seeing a lot of refinances and first time home buyers are beginning to look once more.
According to the Springfield MLS, 2307 Springfield Missouri Real Estate agents work in Springfield and surround areas, a decrease from 2535 in 2007.
The majority of Springfield Mo homes are still being financed with conventional financing, followed up by VA and FHA. Less than 10% paid cash. We continue to have great buys and wonderful homes for sale.
