I like your interpretation of the quote here, but I don't read it as Ovid's intent.

Further, I would hazard a guess that chancing something is not at all a popular skew in today's marketplace. Chance is the antithesis to research and market testing, to specialization and understanding what your customer wants. Ovid's world is long gone.

However, to get out of one's comfort zone and risk... now THAT is powerful.  And I thank you for encouraging us all to do more of this.  I know I need to for sure.
