How about some sales listings - I often get a flyer or postcard with the last 3 months worth of sales for my area from local San Jose realtors - address, beds, baths, sqft, asking price, sale price, days on the market. This would be very interesting. Maybe if the home was a regular sale, foreclosure/bank owned, or short sale.
Another topic of interest would be loan conditions - what kind of credit score do you need to get a loan these days and on what terms? Can you still finance 100% or if not what is the max loan you can get, maybe for a few different credit scores? For bank owned homes - do you need to borrow from that bank?
For potential buyers (I currently rent in San Jose) the Tracy market is getting to a very interesting level, although my impression is it is still declining.
